    From the main street of Port Douglas, Macrossan Street, head towards the intersection with Wharf Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Port Douglas Road. Walk along Port Douglas Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Wildlife Habitat on your left. It is well signed, so keep an eye out for the large sign indicating the sanctuary.

  • Bicycle

    If you're renting a bicycle, start from Macrossan Street and head towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Port Douglas Road. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. Wildlife Habitat will be on your left. There are bike racks available at the entrance for secure parking.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Head to the nearest bus stop on Macrossan Street, which is serviced by local buses. Look for the bus that goes towards Mossman, and make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. Request the driver to stop at Wildlife Habitat. The stop is right outside the entrance to the sanctuary.
