Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Berri. Head south on Vaughan Terrace, which will turn into the Sturt Highway (A20). Continue on Sturt Highway for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with Martin's Bend Road. Turn left onto Martin's Bend Road and follow it for approximately 1 km until you reach the Martin's Bend Reserve entrance on your right.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start at the Berri Bus Station located in the town center. Check the local bus schedule for services heading towards Barmera. You will need to alight at the stop near the Sturt Highway. From there, it is a 10-minute walk (about 1 km) to Martin's Bend Reserve. Walk south along the Sturt Highway until you reach Martin's Bend Road, then turn left and follow the road to the reserve entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Berri. Start from the town center and head south on Vaughan Terrace, which becomes Sturt Highway. There is a bike lane along this road, making it safer. Continue for about 5 km to the Martin's Bend Road intersection. Turn left and cycle for approximately 1 km to reach Martin's Bend Reserve. Remember to wear a helmet and follow road safety rules.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can start from Berri. The walk to Martin's Bend Reserve is approximately 6 km and will take about 1.5 hours. Head south on Vaughan Terrace, which becomes Sturt Highway, and continue until you reach Martin's Bend Road. Turn left and walk for another 1 km to reach the entrance of Martin's Bend Reserve.
