Car
To reach Hot Springs in Stuarts Creek, South Australia, begin your journey from Adelaide. Head north on the Port Wakefield Road (A1) for approximately 150 km until you reach the junction with the Barrier Highway (A32). Turn left onto the Barrier Highway and continue for about 350 km, passing through towns like Port Augusta and Whyalla. After crossing the Flinders Ranges, take a right onto the Stuart Highway (A87) towards Coober Pedy. After about 250 km, take the exit onto the Unnamed Road toward Stuarts Creek. Follow this road for approximately 40 km, and you will arrive at Hot Springs. Ensure you have enough fuel and check road conditions, as some areas may be remote.
Public Transport
To reach Hot Springs via public transport, you can take a bus from Adelaide to Coober Pedy. Several bus services operate this route, but it is recommended to check schedules in advance. The journey takes around 12 hours, and a one-way ticket can cost approximately AUD 200. Once in Coober Pedy, you will need to hire a taxi or a rental car to reach Hot Springs, which is about 40 km away. Taxi fares may vary, so it is advisable to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
