If you are starting from Adelaide, take the National Highway A1 north towards Port Augusta. This is approximately a 300 km drive, which will take about 3-4 hours. Once you reach Port Augusta, continue on the A1 until you reach the turn-off for the Eyre Peninsula (Highway A16). Follow A16 for about 90 km until you reach the town of Minnipa. From Minnipa, take the Pildappa Rock Road heading west for about 15 km. The rock is clearly signposted, and you'll see it as you approach. There is no entry fee to access Pildappa Rock, but ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel as services are limited in the area.
