If you are driving, begin your journey from the nearest major town in South West Australia, such as Bunbury or Busselton. Head east on the South Western Highway (National Route 1) towards Collie. From Collie, take the Collie-Cardiff Road to Cardiff and continue onto the South West Highway towards Donnybrook. Follow the signs towards the South Coast Highway (National Route 1) and continue towards Albany. As you approach Albany, look for signs directing you to the Great Southern Highway. Follow the Great Southern Highway north until you reach the intersection with Silverton Road. Turn right onto Silverton Road and drive approximately 20 kilometers. Look for the Historic Daydream Mine entrance on your right. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy for navigation. Parking is usually available on-site.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Busselton to Bunbury. From Bunbury, you can catch a train to Collie.
