If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Huonville, which is about 37 kilometers north of the Hartz Mountains. Take the Huon Highway (A6) south towards the town of Geeveston. Once in Geeveston, turn onto Arve Road, following the signs for the Hartz Mountains National Park. Continue on Arve Road until you reach the park entrance. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes, and there is no entrance fee for the park.
