Car
If you are driving from the South West region, take the South Coast Highway (A1) towards Kiama. Continue on A1 for approximately 90 kilometers. As you approach Kiama, follow the signs for Kiama and turn onto Kiama Bypass. Take the exit towards Kiama and continue straight onto Blowhole Point Road. The Kiama Lighthouse will be on your left at Blowhole Point Road, Kiama NSW 2533. There is ample parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Kiama Lighthouse via public transport, take a train from major towns in the South West region, such as Wollongong or Nowra, to Kiama Station. The train ride from Wollongong takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Kiama Station, exit the station and head towards the coast via Railway Parade. Turn left onto Blowhole Point Road, and the lighthouse will be about a 15-minute walk from the station. Note that train fares may vary depending on your starting location, so check the Transport for NSW website for current pricing.
Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, check the local bus services that operate in the South Coast region. Routes from major towns like Wollongong to Kiama are available. Once you reach the Kiama bus stop, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs toward Blowhole Point, and you'll find the lighthouse easily.
