Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, first make your way to the Pacific Highway (M1). If you're coming from the north, take the exit towards Tweed Heads. If you're coming from the south, simply follow the M1 into Queensland. Once on the M1, take the exit for Tweed Heads and follow the signs for Coolangatta. Continue on Gold Coast Hwy, and then turn onto Tweed Terrace. Point Danger will be on your right, with ample parking available nearby.

• Public Transport

  For those using public transport, you can catch a bus to Coolangatta. Check local bus services such as Surfside Buslines, which runs routes from various parts of the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads. Once you arrive at the Coolangatta bus terminal, it's a short 10-minute walk to Point Danger. Head east on Griffith Street, then turn right onto Tweed Terrace. Point Danger will be located at the end of the street.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity, walking is a pleasant option. From Coolangatta Beach, head north along the coastline. Follow the walking paths along the beachfront, which will lead you towards Point Danger. The walk offers beautiful ocean views and takes about 20 minutes.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can also consider taking a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Ola directly to Point Danger. Simply enter 'Point Danger, Tweed Terrace, Coolangatta' as your destination in the app. The fare will vary depending on your starting location, but it is a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer not to walk.
