If you're driving from the Southern Highlands area, start by getting onto the Hume Highway (M31). Head northeast from towns like Bowral or Mittagong. Follow the signs for Dapto, and then take the exit toward the Princes Highway (A1). Continue on the Princes Highway until you reach the Bulli Pass and follow the road down toward the coast. Once you reach the roundabout near Dapto, take the exit onto the Lake Illawarra Drive. Follow this road until you reach the lake area. Parking is available at various points along the lakeshore.
