Continue on the Illawarra Highway for approximately 12 kilometers. The entrance to Macquarie Pass National Park is located along this highway. Look for the signs indicating the park, and you'll find parking areas available near the visitor information.

To reach Macquarie Pass National Park using public transportation, start by taking a train from your location in the Southern Highlands to Wollongong Station. Once you arrive at Wollongong, catch a local bus (Route 36 or similar) heading towards Albion Park. Request to get off at the Illawarra Highway stop near Macquarie Pass. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the park entrance, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a short hike.
