If you are traveling by car, head towards Robertson in the Southern Highlands. From the main town of Bowral, take the Old South Road (B73) heading south. Continue for about 15 kilometers, and then turn left onto the Illawarra Highway (B73). Follow the highway for approximately 10 kilometers until you see signs for Robertson. Once in Robertson, follow the signs to the Rainforest walking track located at CH5W+7Q, Robertson NSW 2577. There is no entry fee for accessing the walking track.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Sydney to Mittagong station, which is the nearest major station to Robertson. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. From Mittagong, you can catch a bus to Robertson. Check the local bus timetable for the most up-to-date schedule. Once you arrive in Robertson, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Rainforest walking track at CH5W+7Q, Robertson NSW 2577. Be sure to check bus schedules for the return trip.
Walking
If you are already in Robertson town, you can walk to the Rainforest walking track. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from the town center. Head south on the Illawarra Highway, then turn left onto a smaller road leading into the surrounding bushland, where you'll see signs directing you to the track. Ensure you wear suitable walking shoes and bring water.
