If you are driving from Mittagong, head southwest on the Hume Highway (M31) towards Bowral. Take the exit towards Fitzroy Falls. Continue along Fitzroy Falls Road until you reach the intersection with Redhills Firetrail. Turn right onto Redhills Firetrail and follow the road until you reach the car park at the Grotto. Parking is free, but spaces can fill up quickly on weekends.
Public Transportation
To reach The Grotto via public transport, take a train from Sydney to Bowral Station. From Bowral Station, you can catch a bus (route 841) towards Fitzroy Falls. Get off at the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 1.5 km) along the marked walking trails to The Grotto.
