If you're driving, get onto the Sunshine Motorway (M1) from your location in Sunshine Coast. Follow the M1 towards Kawana Waters. Take the exit towards Kawana Way and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Nicklin Way and follow it until you see signs for Kawana Beach. There is ample parking available near the beach, but be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the area.

To reach Kawana Beach using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Kawana Waters. Buses such as the 607 or 619 provide services to the area. Depending on your starting point, you may need to transfer at Maroochydore or a nearby hub. Make sure to check the TransLink website for the most current schedules and routes. The bus will drop you off at a stop close to the beach, from which it is a short walk to the beach entrance.

For those who prefer to cycle, there are bike paths that lead to Kawana Beach. You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops around Sunshine Coast. Follow the coastal bike paths, which are well-marked and scenic. The bike ride from central locations like Mooloolaba takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you reach Kawana Beach, you will find bike racks for secure parking.
