If you are driving from Noosa Heads, head south on Sunshine Beach Rd toward Noosa Dr. Continue onto David Low Way and follow the signs to the Bruce Highway. Merge onto the Bruce Highway and take exit 224 toward Nambour/Mapleton. Follow the signs to Mapleton, driving through Nambour. Once you reach Mapleton, turn right onto Mapleton Falls Rd. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers, and you will find the Mapleton Falls lookout on your left at 78 Mapleton Falls Rd.

Public Transportation
To reach Mapleton Falls lookout by public transport, take the Sunshine Coast Line train from Brisbane to Nambour Station. Once at Nambour, transfer to bus route 628 towards Mapleton. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the Mapleton Falls Rd stop. From there, it’s a short 1.5-kilometer walk along Mapleton Falls Rd to the lookout. Follow the road signs until you reach the lookout at 78 Mapleton Falls Rd.

From Maroochydore, head west on Aerodrome Rd, then turn left onto Sunshine Motorway. Follow the motorway for about 12 kilometers and take the exit toward Nambour/Mapleton. Continue straight onto Nambour Connection Rd, then turn left onto Mapleton Falls Rd. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Mapleton Falls lookout, located at 78 Mapleton Falls Rd.

Starting from Caloundra, take bus route 600 to Nambour Station. Once you arrive at Nambour, switch to bus route 628 heading to Mapleton. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Mapleton Falls Rd stop. Walk along Mapleton Falls Rd for around 1.5 kilometers until you reach the lookout at 78 Mapleton Falls Rd.
