Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Maroochy Waters Canal Viewpoint from anywhere on the Sunshine Coast, start by getting onto the Sunshine Motorway (M1). Follow the M1 and take the exit toward Maroochydore. Merge onto Maroochydore Road (A1) and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Aerodrome Road, which will lead you towards the beach area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bradman Avenue, then turn left. Follow Bradman Avenue until you see the canal viewpoint on your right. There is parking available along the street, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Maroochy Waters Canal Viewpoint via public transport, first locate your nearest bus stop. Use the public bus service operated by Sunshine Coast Council. Look for the bus route that goes to Maroochydore. You can take Bus Route 600 or any relevant route that connects to the Maroochydore area. After boarding the bus, stay on until you reach the stop closest to Bradman Avenue. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes. Head southeast on Aerodrome Road, then turn left onto Bradman Avenue. The viewpoint will be on your right.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling to Maroochy Waters Canal Viewpoint, the Sunshine Coast has several bike paths. You can follow the coastal bike path that runs along the beach. Starting from areas like Mooloolaba or Cotton Tree, ride along the beachfront until you reach the Maroochydore area. Once you arrive at Aerodrome Road, you can easily access Bradman Avenue where the viewpoint is located. Remember to wear a helmet and follow all cycling rules. There are bike racks available near the viewpoint.
