Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Noosa Heads. From the Sunshine Coast region, take the Bruce Highway (M1) northbound. Take exit 224 for Noosa Heads. Follow the signs to Noosa Heads which will lead you onto Noosa Drive. Continue on Noosa Drive until you reach Hastings Street. From Hastings Street, follow the road signs to the Noosa National Park. There is parking available near the entrance to the park. After parking, head towards the coastal track that leads to Dolphin Point Lookout, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the park entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Dolphin Point Lookout using public transportation, take a bus towards Noosa Heads from the Sunshine Coast region. Several bus services operate through the area. You can catch a bus from major hubs like Maroochydore or Mooloolaba. Check the local bus schedule for routes and times. Once you arrive at Noosa Heads, disembark at the Noosa National Park bus stop. From there, follow the signs to the coastal track leading to Dolphin Point Lookout, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the stop.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Noosa Heads. Follow the Noosa River and head towards Noosa National Park. The bike paths are well-marked and will lead you directly to the park entrance. Once you reach the park, there will be bike racks where you can securely park your bike. After locking up, walk along the coastal track for about 10-15 minutes to reach Dolphin Point Lookout.
