Walking
If you're starting from the main beach area in Surfers Paradise, head east towards the ocean and walk along the Esplanade. Continue walking north along the beach until you reach the intersection with the Gold Coast Highway. Cross the highway at the pedestrian lights and head west along Ferny Avenue until you reach the traffic lights at Peninsular Drive. Turn left onto Peninsular Drive and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will find Lionel Perry Park on your left, right before the road curves.

Public Transport
From the Surfers Paradise Transit Centre, take the trams heading north on the G:link line. Get off at the 'Cavill Avenue' stop. From there, walk west along Cavill Avenue until you reach the Gold Coast Highway. Cross the highway safely at the pedestrian lights and continue walking along Ferny Avenue until you get to the traffic lights at Peninsular Drive. Turn left onto Peninsular Drive and walk for approximately 10 minutes. Lionel Perry Park will be on your left.

If you are renting a bicycle, start from the beachfront and ride north along the cycle path on the Esplanade. When you reach the intersection with the Gold Coast Highway, turn left and continue until you reach Ferny Avenue. Take a right turn onto Ferny Avenue and then follow it until you get to the traffic lights at Peninsular Drive. Turn left onto Peninsular Drive, and after a short ride, you will see Lionel Perry Park on your left.
