Car
If you are driving from Sydney CBD, take the Eastern Distributor (M1) and follow the signs for Botany Bay. Continue onto the M5 Motorway and take the exit toward La Perouse. Once you reach La Perouse, follow Anzac Parade and turn left onto Frenchmans Road. This will lead you to the La Perouse area. Park your car at the La Perouse beach parking lot. From there, you can walk to Bare Island by following the path along the coast. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.

To reach Bare Island using public transport, start by taking a train from Sydney CBD to Central Station. From Central Station, transfer to the T8 Airport & South Line and ride to Kingsford Smith Airport Station. At the airport station, catch Bus 391 towards La Perouse. Get off at the La Perouse stop on Anzac Parade. From the bus stop, it is a short walk towards the beach area. Follow the coastal path to Bare Island, which takes about 15 minutes.
