Bus

To get to Freshwater Beach from Sydney's CBD, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the L90 or 199 bus towards Manly. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Freshwater Village' stop. Once you get off, walk down the hill on Lawrence Street, and you'll find Freshwater Beach just a short walk away.

Ferry + Bus

Start by walking to Circular Quay and catch a ferry to Manly. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Manly Wharf, exit the ferry terminal and catch the 199 bus towards North Manly. Get off at the 'Freshwater Village' stop, then walk down Lawrence Street to reach Freshwater Beach.

Walking from Manly

If you're already in Manly, you can walk to Freshwater Beach. From Manly Beach, walk along the coastal path towards Freshwater. The walk takes about 20-30 minutes and provides beautiful views of the ocean. Follow the path along the beach, and when you reach the end of Manly Beach, continue onto the paved walkway that leads you directly to Freshwater Beach.

Taxi or Rideshare
