Getting there

Ferry

To reach Q Station Manly, start your journey at Circular Quay. Make your way to the ferry terminal located at Circular Quay, which is easily accessible by foot from major attractions like the Sydney Opera House and The Rocks. Look for the ferry services to Manly; they are well signposted. Purchase a ticket from the ticket machines at the terminal or use your Opal card for a seamless journey. Board the Manly ferry, which departs frequently, and enjoy a scenic ride across the harbor. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Manly Wharf.

Walking

Once you arrive at Manly Wharf, exit the ferry terminal and walk straight ahead toward the beachfront. Turn right at the end of the wharf and follow the promenade along Manly Beach. Continue walking along the waterfront, enjoying the views and atmosphere. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach Manly's North Head Scenic Drive. Look for the signs leading to Q Station. Follow the pathway up to Q Station, which will be on your left at 1 N Head Scenic Dr. The entire walk is approximately 1.2 kilometers and should take around 20-25 minutes.

Bus

Alternatively, from Manly Wharf, you can take a bus to reach Q Station. Exit the ferry terminal and head to the bus stop located near the wharf. Look for the bus route 135, which goes to North Head. Board the bus and pay your fare using an Opal card or cash if you have it available. Enjoy the short bus ride to North Head, which takes about 10 minutes. The bus stop closest to Q Station is located just a short walk away; follow the signs to reach the entrance at 1 N Head Scenic Dr.
