Car
If you're driving from Sydney city center, take the M1 Pacific Motorway (also known as the F3) northbound. Continue on the M1 and take the exit toward the A38 (Warringah Road). Follow Warringah Road until you reach the intersection with Pittwater Road. Turn right onto Pittwater Road and continue to follow it until you see signs for the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Turn left onto McCarrs Creek Road, which will lead you into the National Park. Follow the signs for Resolute Beach. There is parking available at the Resolute Picnic Area, but note that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Resolute Beach via public transport, take a train from Central Station to Woy Woy Station (Central Coast & Newcastle Line). From Woy Woy Station, you can catch a bus (Route 28) to Palm Beach. At Palm Beach, transfer to the Barrenjoey Road bus (Route 199) heading towards Avalon. Get off at the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park stop. From there, it's a short walk to the picnic area and beach. Be sure to check the current bus schedules and routes on the Transport for NSW website, as they may change.
Walking
Once you arrive at the Resolute Picnic Area by car or bus, you can enjoy a scenic 15-minute walk down a trail to reach Resolute Beach. The trail is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water and snacks for your visit.
