Car
If you are driving from Sydney, take the M4 Motorway heading west. Continue on the M4 until it merges with the Great Western Highway (A32). Follow the A32 for approximately 50 km. Take the exit towards Glenbrook. Once you exit, follow the signs to Glenbrook and turn onto Park Street. Continue on Park Street, which will lead you to the entrance of Blue Mountains National Park. There will be a turnoff for Tunnel View Lookout along the road. Look for the signs indicating Tunnel View Lookout. The parking area is available near the lookout.
Public Transport
To reach Tunnel View Lookout via public transportation, take a train from Central Station in Sydney to Glenbrook Station (approximately a 1.5-hour journey). From Glenbrook Station, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to Tunnel View Lookout, which is around 6 km away. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, you can follow the footpath along the Great Western Highway to reach the lookout, although this may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to check the train schedules in advance and allow for some waiting time.
Walking (from Glenbrook Station)
If you decide to walk from Glenbrook Station, exit the station and head northwest on Park Street, which will lead you to the Great Western Highway. Cross the highway and continue along the path leading towards the entrance of Blue Mountains National Park. Follow the marked trails towards Tunnel View Lookout. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and you will experience beautiful scenery along the way.
