Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the Sydney Central Business District (CBD), take the Western Distributor from Pyrmont Bridge Road. Merge onto the Warringah Freeway (M1) and follow the signs for Manly. Take the exit toward Spit Road/Manly. Continue on Spit Road, which becomes Condamine Street. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout at Manly. Take the first exit onto North Steyne. Continue straight until you reach Bower Lane. Turn left onto Bower Lane, and the Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees.

  To reach Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve via public transport, start by taking a train from your location to Circular Quay Station. From Circular Quay, head to the ferry wharf and board a Manly Ferry. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Manly Wharf, exit the ferry and walk straight along the Corso, which turns into North Steyne. Continue walking until you reach Bower Lane, then turn left. The Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve will be on your right. The ferry costs around AUD 7.50 for a single trip.
