Public Transportation
If you are starting from Central Station, take the T2, T3, or T8 train towards Circular Quay. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Circular Quay Station, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. From there, follow the signs to Circular Quay West. The Commissioner’s Steps are located at 1A Circular Quay W, just a short 5-minute walk along the waterfront.
Car
If you are driving from the Sydney CBD, head towards George Street and continue onto Macquarie Street. Follow the signs for the Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay. Once you reach Circular Quay, look for parking options in the area, such as the Wilson Parking at Circular Quay or The Rocks. If you are taking a bus, find a route that services Circular Quay. The 380, 333, and 431 buses go to Circular Quay. Alight at the Circular Quay stop, and you will be directly at the waterfront.
