Public Transport - Train and Bus
From Sydney's Central Station, take the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line train towards Cronulla. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Alight at Cronulla Station. Once you arrive at Cronulla, exit the station and head to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take the L90 bus towards Bundeena. This bus will take you directly to Bundeena, and the ride lasts about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bundeena, disembark at the stop closest to Horderns Beach. Follow the signs leading you towards the beach, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Ferry
If you're near Circular Quay, you can take a ferry to Cronulla. Board the ferry to Cronulla, which takes approximately 50 minutes. After disembarking at Cronulla Wharf, follow the signs to the bus stop (it's about a 5-minute walk). At the bus stop, catch the L90 bus towards Bundeena. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bundeena, get off at the nearest stop to Horderns Beach and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the beach.

From the town center of Cronulla, you can enjoy a scenic coastal walk or bike ride along the Cronulla to Bundeena coastal trail. This trail is approximately 8 kilometers long and offers beautiful views of the coastline. After reaching Bundeena, follow the local signs directing you to Horderns Beach, which is easily accessible from the town.
