From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop and take Bus 324 or Bus 325 towards Vaucluse. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Old South Head Rd after Vaucluse Rd.' From there, walk about 600 meters heading south on Old South Head Rd until you reach Macquarie Lighthouse.

Ferry & Bus

Take a ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay. The ferry ride offers beautiful views and takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Watsons Bay, exit the ferry terminal and walk to the bus stop. Take Bus 324 or Bus 325 towards Vaucluse. Get off at 'Old South Head Rd after Vaucluse Rd.' Then, walk about 600 meters south on Old South Head Rd to reach Macquarie Lighthouse.
