From the central Manly Beach area, head towards the north along the promenade. You will start at the Manly Corso, which is a pedestrian-only area filled with shops and cafes. Continue walking along the beachfront until you reach the Manly Wharf, where you will see the ferry terminal. From there, take the scenic boardwalk that leads towards Shelly Beach. Follow the signs for the 'Shelly Beach' walkway. This path will take you through the lush coastal scenery and will lead you directly to Shelly Beach, which is about a 20-minute walk from the wharf.

Once you reach Shelly Beach, continue beyond the beach area by following the path that leads up to the Lookout. You will need to take the staircase to climb up to the lookout point. The stairs are well-marked and provide beautiful views as you ascend. The entire hike from Shelly Beach to the Lookout should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
