Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Sydney Town Hall, exit the Town Hall and walk straight down George Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Park Street. Turn left onto Park Street and walk until you reach Elizabeth Street. Turn right onto Elizabeth Street; Hyde Park will be on your left. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transport - Bus

  You can take a bus from various locations in Sydney CBD. Look for bus stops along George Street. Board a bus going towards Elizabeth Street. A good option is the 333 or 380 bus. You will need to tap your Opal card (costs vary based on distance but expect around AUD 2.50 to AUD 5.00 for a short trip). Get off at the stop on Elizabeth Street near Hyde Park, and you will see the park immediately.

• Public Transport - Light Rail

  From the Sydney Light Rail station, board a light rail towards Dulwich Hill. Get off at the stop at Paddy's Markets. Walk along the pedestrian path towards Elizabeth Street, then turn right. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Hyde Park. The ticket for the Light Rail will cost you around AUD 3.00 to AUD 5.00 depending on your starting point.

  If you're near a train station like Town Hall or Museum, you can take a train on the T2, T4, or T8 lines. Disembark at Museum Station. From Museum Station, walk towards Park Street, then turn left and walk until you reach Elizabeth Street. Turn right onto Elizabeth Street, and Hyde Park will be ahead.
