  • Car

    If you're driving, start your journey from the Tasman Highway (A3). Head south on the A3 until you reach the turn-off for Eaglehawk Neck Road. Follow Eaglehawk Neck Road until you reach Plateau Road. Turn left onto Plateau Road, and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will see the signs directing you to Eaglehawk Lookout. There is parking available near the lookout.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Sorell. From Sorell, you will need to catch another bus to Eaglehawk Neck. Check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Once you arrive at Eaglehawk Neck, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along Eaglehawk Neck Road towards Plateau Road. Follow the signs to Eaglehawk Lookout. Be prepared for a short uphill walk to reach the lookout.

    If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to walk, from the Eaglehawk Neck area, head toward Plateau Road. The walk to Eaglehawk Lookout is approximately 1 kilometer uphill from the nearest bus stop. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and water, as the trail can be steep in places.
