If you are traveling by car, head towards Eaglehawk Neck from anywhere in the Tasman Peninsula. From Port Arthur, take the Arthur Highway (A9) northbound for approximately 15 km. Continue on the A9 until you reach Eaglehawk Neck. Turn onto Tasmans Arch Road, which is clearly signposted. Follow this road for about 1 km, and you will find parking near Tasmans Arch. The parking area is free of charge.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, the best option is to catch a bus from Port Arthur to Eaglehawk Neck. Check the local bus schedule, as services may not run frequently. Once you arrive at Eaglehawk Neck, you can either walk to Tasmans Arch, which is about a 15-20 minute walk (approximately 1.5 km) or take a taxi if available. The walk will take you along Tasmans Arch Road, where you will find the arch at the end of the road. Make sure to check the return bus times to avoid being stranded.
Walking
If you are already in the Eaglehawk Neck area and prefer walking, you can start from the Eaglehawk Neck beach area. Head west along the coastline towards Tasmans Arch Road, and follow the road for about 2 km. The scenery is beautiful, and you will get a chance to see the stunning landscape along the way. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially on warmer days.
