A great gin and whisky tour
I have always wanted to learn more about whisky so this tour out of Hobart was perfect for me. We visited three excellent distilleries, each quite different but all offering generous tastings. The first stop included a private tour of a distillery and we were shown the whisky making process. The drive through Tasmania's spectacular scenery was an added bonus, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly and he kept the day running smoothly. The bus was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated having the freedom to choose our own lunch venue in the town where we stopped. A wonderful day from start to finish. My only recommendation is to arrange transport home afterwards—you'll definitely want to enjoy all the generous tastings without having to think about driving!
