Follow the Tasman Highway (A3) and take the exit towards Triabunna. Once you arrive in Triabunna, look for the Maria Island Ferry terminal. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees. The ferry ride to Maria Island takes about 30 minutes and costs around AUD 45 for a return ticket. Once you arrive on Maria Island, follow the walking trails to Painted Cliffs, which is about a 30-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
