Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Hobart, take the A3 highway south towards Sorell. Continue on the A3 for about 45 minutes until you reach the intersection with the B33. Turn left onto the B33 towards Eaglehawk Neck. Follow the B33 for approximately 25 minutes which will lead you to Pirates Road. Make a right turn onto Pirates Road. After a short drive, you will see signs for Eaglehawk Lookout on your left. The lookout has a parking area available.

    To visit Eaglehawk Lookout using public transport, start at the Hobart Bus Interchange (Elizabeth Street). Catch the bus to Sorell (Route 710 or 711). Once you reach Sorell, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards Eaglehawk Neck. Check the local bus schedules for the best route and times. Upon reaching Eaglehawk Neck, get off at the nearest stop and walk towards Plateau Road, following the signs to the lookout. It is a short walk from the bus stop to Eaglehawk Lookout.
