Car
If you're driving, head south on the Arthur Highway (A9) from Hobart. Continue for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until you reach the junction at Sorell. Turn left onto the B68 towards Port Arthur. Keep following the signs for Port Arthur; the road will take you through scenic landscapes. Once you arrive in Port Arthur, look for Safety Cove Road. Turn right onto Safety Cove Road, and after about 5 minutes, you will see the Remarkable Cave entrance on your right.

To reach Remarkable Cave via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Hobart to Port Arthur. The bus service is operated by Tassielink and takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Arthur Historic Site, you can either walk or take a taxi to Safety Cove Road. The cave is about a 5-minute drive from the Port Arthur Historic Site. Alternatively, check for any local tours that may include transportation to the cave.
