Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Waratah from the nearest major town, Burnie. Take the Murchison Highway (A2) heading southwest. After approximately 45 kilometers, turn left onto the Waratah Road (C216). Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Waratah. Once in Waratah, follow the signs leading to Waratah Falls, which is located at 33 Smith St, Waratah TAS 7321.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Burnie to Waratah. Check with local bus services for the latest schedules. The bus ride takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Waratah, you can either walk or take a taxi to Waratah Falls located at 33 Smith St. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers from the bus stop, so be prepared for a short trek.
Walking
If you are already in Waratah and wish to walk to Waratah Falls, start at the Waratah town center and head east on Smith St. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Waratah Falls. This is a pleasant walk through the surrounding natural beauty of the Tasmanian Wilderness.
