If you are driving from the center of Halls Gap, head south on Grampians Road. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the main intersection at the Halls Gap Hotel. At this intersection, turn left onto Stawell-Halls Gap Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Grampians National Park. After entering the park, you can explore a variety of walking trails and scenic lookouts.
Public Transportation
To reach Halls Gap using public transport, take the V/Line bus from Stawell or Ararat. The bus will drop you at the Halls Gap bus stop. From there, you can walk along Grampians Road towards the town center, which is approximately 1 kilometer away. This walk takes you through the scenic area and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Walking
If you are already in the town of Halls Gap and wish to explore the area on foot, start from the Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre located at the corner of Grampians Road and Ararat-Halls Gap Road. From here, you can walk along the main streets, which are well-marked with signs to various attractions, including the nearby walking trails and lookout points such as the Pinnacle Walk.
