Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Halls Gap town center. Head east on Grampians Rd towards Mount Victory Rd. After about 5 minutes (approximately 4 km), you will reach the intersection of Grampians Rd and Mount Victory Rd. Turn right onto Mount Victory Rd. Continue for another 2 km, and you will find the Clematis Falls car park on your left. There are no fees for parking at this location.
Public Transport
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Melbourne to Halls Gap. The bus service operates several times a day, and you can check the schedule from the local bus company. Once you arrive in Halls Gap, you can either walk or hire a taxi to reach Clematis Falls. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes (about 2.5 km). Head east on Grampians Rd, then turn right onto Mount Victory Rd. Follow Mount Victory Rd for about 2 km until you reach the Clematis Falls car park.
Walking
For those already in Halls Gap and looking for a scenic walk, you can take a walking trail to Clematis Falls. Starting from the Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre, head east on Grampians Rd, then turn right onto Mount Victory Rd. Follow this road, which will take you through beautiful landscapes and wildlife. The walk is approximately 2.5 km and will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
