Getting There

    If you are driving to Sundial Peak, start from Halls Gap, the main town in the Grampians. Head east on Grampians Road (C216) for about 4 km until you reach the turnoff to Mt Victory Road. Turn left onto Mt Victory Road and continue for approximately 7 km. Look for the Sundial Peak trailhead parking area on your left. The parking area is adjacent to a picnic area, and from here you can access the hiking trail.

  • Public Transportation

    Using public transport can be a bit tricky as there are limited services. You can take a bus from Melbourne to Halls Gap (check VLine for schedule and fares). Once you arrive in Halls Gap, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Sundial Peak. The taxi ride from Halls Gap to the Sundial Peak trailhead will take about 15 minutes and will cost approximately AUD 20-30, depending on the service.
