Ferry
The most common way to reach Hamilton Island is by ferry from Airlie Beach. Head to the Abel Point Marina located at 1 Shute Harbour Rd, Airlie Beach QLD 4802. Ferries depart regularly throughout the day, so check the schedule at the marina or online ahead of time. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Hamilton Island, you will be at the main terminal, from where you can access various resort facilities and transportation options on the island.
Airplane
If you prefer flying, you can take a short flight from Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine). From the airport, you can book a direct flight to Hamilton Island Airport, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you land at Hamilton Island Airport, you can easily reach your accommodation or explore the island using the free shuttle buses or taxis available at the terminal.
