If you are driving from Alice Springs, take the Lasseter Highway (National Route 87) towards Uluru. Continue for about 450 km until you reach the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park entrance. Once you enter the park, follow the signs to the Mala Walk Car Park, which is located near the base of Uluru. The car park is open daily from 5 AM to 9 PM. Note that there is an entry fee for the national park, which is approximately AUD 38 per person for a three-day pass.
