Car
From the Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, head southwest on Yulara Drive towards the Lasseter Highway. Continue for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the Ewing Lookout access road. Turn left onto the Ewing Lookout road, which is well signposted. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers until you arrive at the Ewing Lookout parking area. The lookout provides spectacular views of the desert landscape, particularly at sunset.

Public Transportation
Public buses run from the Ayers Rock Resort to various attractions within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. To reach Ewing Lookout, take the bus to the 'Rim Walk' stop. From there, it’s about a 30-minute walk along the marked path towards Ewing Lookout. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, especially during warmer months.

If you are already near the base of Uluru and want to enjoy a hike, you can walk to Ewing Lookout. Start at the Uluru Base Walk and follow the signs towards the lookout. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers one way and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have enough water and sun protection, as there are limited shaded areas.
