Car

From Melbourne, take the M1 freeway towards Geelong. Continue on the M1, then take the exit towards the Great Ocean Road (B100). Follow the B100 for approximately 99 km, passing through Torquay and Anglesea. As you approach Lorne, look for signs directing you to Erskine Falls. Turn onto Erskine Falls Access Rd and follow it for about 5 km until you reach the car park at the base of the falls. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around AUD 5 per vehicle.

Public Transportation

From Melbourne, take a V/Line train to Geelong (approximately 1 hour). From Geelong, transfer to a bus service (e.g., V/Line bus) heading towards Lorne. The bus journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Lorne, you can take a local shuttle service or taxi to reach Erskine Falls Access Rd. It is about a 5 km drive from the town center, and local taxis typically charge around AUD 15-25 for this short trip. Please check local schedules and availability for the best travel times.
