From Airlie Beach, drive to the Abell Point Marina, where you can find the ferry services to Border Island. The marina is approximately a 5-minute drive from the town center. Look for parking options near the marina, as you will need to leave your car here while you take the ferry.

At Abell Point Marina, purchase a ticket for the ferry service to Border Island. Ferries run regularly but check the schedule in advance to ensure you arrive on time. The ferry ride to Border Island takes about 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views of the Whitsunday waters and the surrounding islands during your journey.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, catch a bus from the Whitsunday Coast Airport to Airlie Beach. There are shuttle services available that take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Airlie Beach, follow the instructions above to reach Abell Point Marina for the ferry to Border Island.
