Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards Cape Conway. Make sure you have a GPS or a map app on your phone. From Airlie Beach, take Shute Harbour Road and follow signs towards Cape Conway. It is approximately a 30-minute drive (around 25 km). Once you reach Cape Conway, look for the Honeyeater Lookout Trail entrance, which is well marked. There is no entry fee to access the trail.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Airlie Beach to Cape Conway. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Cape Conway, you may need to walk a short distance to the trailhead. Make sure to check if the bus service operates on weekends and public holidays, as schedules may be limited.
Walking
Once you arrive at Cape Conway, if you are coming from a bus stop, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the Honeyeater Lookout Trailhead. Follow the signs that direct you towards the trail. The walk is on a well-maintained path, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
