If you are driving, start from Airlie Beach and take Shute Harbour Road. Continue on this road until you reach the junction for Shute Harbour. Turn left onto Shute Harbour Road and follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, park your car in the designated parking area, which may incur a fee of around AUD 10-20 per day. Take a ferry to Hamilton Island, which usually costs around AUD 60-80 return. Upon arriving at Hamilton Island, follow the signs to the bus station and take a bus towards Middle Head.
