Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hamilton Island. Head south on Resort Drive and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Whitsunday Boulevard. Follow the signs to the marina and beach areas. Continue along Whitsunday Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Palm Valley Drive. Turn left onto Palm Valley Drive and follow it until you see the signs for Point Henning Pavilion. The pavilion is located at the end of the road, providing access to stunning views of the surrounding islands.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the local shuttle bus service that operates around Hamilton Island. Look for the shuttle stops along Resort Drive. Board the shuttle that is headed towards the marina area. The shuttle will drop you off near the beach where you can walk to Point Henning Pavilion. Be sure to check the shuttle timetable for the latest schedules. The shuttle service may incur a small fee, typically around AUD 5 per ride.
Walking
If you are staying nearby and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from the beach. Start at Catseye Beach and walk along the shoreline heading towards the south side of the island. Follow the walking path that leads to Point Henning Pavilion. This walk offers beautiful views of the ocean and is a leisurely way to reach your destination. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk may take about 30 minutes.
