If you are driving, start from Airlie Beach, the main hub for the Whitsunday Islands. Head south on Shute Harbour Road (A7) for about 10 km until you reach the junction with Proserpine-Shute Harbour Road. Turn left onto Proserpine-Shute Harbour Road and continue for another 5 km. Follow the signs for Whitsunday Peak to the parking area at the trailhead. Here, you can park your car and begin your hike.
