Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Hamilton Island from any nearby location in the Whitsunday Islands. Follow the signs for Hamilton Island Airport. Once you arrive at the airport, you can park your car there. After parking, take a short shuttle bus ride or a short walk to the main resort area where Explore Group is located at Front Street. Look for the signs directing you to tour operators.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, you need to take a ferry from the mainland (Airlie Beach) to Hamilton Island. Ferries are operated by Cruise Whitsundays and run regularly throughout the day. The ferry ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Hamilton Island ferry terminal, it is a short walk to Front Street where Explore Group is located. Follow the signs towards the resort area, which will guide you to the tour operator.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service from the ferry terminal or airport directly to Explore Group at Front Street. This can be arranged upon arrival and will save you the hassle of navigating on foot.

• Walking

  If you are already on Hamilton Island, you can easily walk to Explore Group from most accommodations. Head towards Front Street, which is centrally located near the Marina and shops. Look for the Explore Group signage as you approach the area.
