Getting There

Car
From Yarra Valley, take the Maroondah Highway (B300) towards Marysville. After approximately 40 km, you will reach the township of Marysville. Continue on the Maroondah Highway, and follow the signs for Lake Mountain. You will turn left onto Lake Mountain Road, which leads you directly to the Lake Mountain Summit car park. The drive should take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please note that there is a parking fee of approximately AUD 15 for the day.

Public Transportation
From Yarra Valley, take a train from Lilydale Station to Warburton Station. From Warburton, you will need to catch a bus (if available) towards Marysville. Check for the most current bus schedules as they can vary. Once in Marysville, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Lake Mountain Summit, as public transport may not go directly to the summit. The entire journey may take over 2 hours depending on connections and availability.
