    If you are driving from the Yarra Valley, start on the Warburton Highway (B380). Head southwest towards the town of Yarra Junction. Continue on the Warburton Highway until you reach the intersection with the Maroondah Highway (B300). Turn left onto Maroondah Highway and follow it south towards the Dandenong Ranges. After approximately 15 km, turn right onto Mount Dandenong Tourist Road. Continue for about 8 km, then turn left onto Ridge Road. The Mount Dandenong Arboretum will be on your right at 65 Ridge Rd, Mount Dandenong VIC 3767.

    To reach Mount Dandenong Arboretum via public transport, first take a train from Yarra Valley to the nearest train station, which is the Belgrave Station on the Puffing Billy line.
